VSM Important Dates:
Disciple Now-FEBRUARY
DNow Weekend is spent building out our faith through applicable teaching sessions, small group times and service projects. We bring in a speaker and band and have numerous activities and fun events throughout the weekend.
Generate-End of MAY or beginning of JUNE
Generate Camp by YM360 is a youth ministry summer camp experience for youth groups focused on helping teenagers know Christ and make Him known.
Vacation Bible School-Beginning of June
London Junior & Senior Mission Trip-JUNE
The Junior & Senior Mission Trip is for current juniors and seniors in high school. We will be working with our London mission partners, Nathan and Tim.
Super Summer, at the University of Mobile-JULY
Super Summer is not your typical summer camp for several reasons. Students spend time in colored schools, for example red school is for first time students who have just finished 8th grade. Students spend hours in their "schools" learning about things such as theology, spiritual disciplines, missiology, apologetics, and more. Students spend more time in their schools learning than they spend doing other activities, unlike many other summer camps. At Super Summer, students come expecting to see God move and work in their lives. When like-minded Christian brothers and sisters come together to learn, study, and grow in their faith, the Lord is sure to move!
