Worship God | Connect with Others | Serve the World

Volunteer Opportunities

At Valleydale, we believe part of "serving the world" is serving in our local church's ministries so we can provide our guests and other members with a great experience each time they are on our campus - whether for worship or for one of the many other activities our church offers. Everyone is called to serve in one way or another; here are a few places you can plug into volunteer service:

FRONTLINERS - Our team of greeters is vital to our Sunday morning experience to make guests feel welcome, offer them a smile and a handshake, and help them find their way around our campus. This is a great entry point to serving for those who have not served before; however, we have many who have served in this ministry for years. Contact Kim Kelly for information on how to get in on this important ministry.

LIBRARY - It takes attention to detail to catalogue books, repair and shelf media and books, and help with circulation.  We need just a little of your time to help us keep our library running smoothly. To volunteer in the Library, contact our Librarian Cheryl Eubanks.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE - Our Congregational Care ministry involves hospital visits as well as serving homebound and nursing home residents. Contact Angie Graves to see how you can be involved.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY - Contact Kim Kelly to assist with event planning, setup, cleanup, decorations, food, etc.

PRESCHOOL MINISTRIES - Contact Martha Piedra to be a teacher, assistant teacher, or classroom aid on Sundays or Wednesdays. Paid childcare opportunities are also available.  For information about working with Noah's Nook (Mother's Day Out Program) contact Amy Bagwell.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY - Contact Chuck McCammon to serve on KidStuf teams or to assist with any facet of Children's Ministry.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY - Contact Ryan Whaley for the many ways you can work with middle school students.

HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRYContact Jason Dees to work with high school students.

COLLEGE MINISTRY - Contact Ross Robinson to participate in making our college ministry an awesome experience for local students.

SINGLE ADULT MINISTRY - Contact Ross Robinson to see how you can contribute as a volunteer to our single adults.

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY  - Contact Geryl Herrington if you desire to serve in OASIS, our vibrant senior adult ministry.

MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES  - Because of our focus on WorldReach Missions we have many opportunities for serving on mission projects, going on missions trips, and supporting missions efforts through the Barnabas Project.  Contact Beth Seibert for more information on missions.

RECREATION MINISTRIES - Contact Chuck McCammon for the many ways you can serve in this ministry through Upward Basketball and Flag Football, Information desk volunteer, cheerleading coach, paid Recreation Assistant, and more.

WORSHIP MINISTRYContact Rhonda Osborne for information on the opportunities for service in our worship choir, bands, drama team, creative worship team, or visual arts team.

TECHNICAL MINISTRY - Our technical team is vital to our Sunday morning worship experience. We need people interested in helping with lights, cameras, powerpoint, and many other positions. Experience is not necessary. If you have the interest and desire, we will provide the training. Contact Jennifer Dolcelli to start pushing buttons today.

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS - Contact Bonnie Shelton to serve in our Church Office.  Tasks include copying, folding, cutting, hole punching, assembling.
